Friends of Mental Health are conducting training for carers who want to initiate mental health change in their local area. This training will be facilitated by Sandra McDonald from Beautiful Minds.
This training will teach you:
- How to connect with your local mental health hospital
- How to fundraise at a local level to build recovery-oriented spaces for consumers and carers
- How to make mental health caring a positive experience

Empowering carers to create change in their communities!
The Friends of Mental Health Project focuses on being proactive and doing something positive for themselves and their loved ones including enhancing the recovery space within their local hospitals. Carers may fundraise for money to finance chosen projects and work with each other doing something for their local area while having fun and promoting recovery!
