The Recovery Quilt Project was launched at the NSW Recovery Camp in Tiona Park on Monday 6 September 2016.
The quilt is based on the revised 2010 National Standards for Mental Health Services
People on the camp where asked to identify one standard that they would create an image and up to 150 words that related to the standard and work to create a 5/7 minute film script that would be work shopped with the Project Independence team at Collective Purpose on the last Friday of the month between 1 and 4 pm.
Once the image, words and script had been accepted by the PI Team, they would approach Short Black Films to obtain some funding to finalise each of the standards.
Information about who is involved can be found here draft-recovery-quilt-v0-2-051016
The photo frame below will be used to hold the 16 images of the Recovery Quilt as they are developed by the person who have agree to lead the process
If you would like to be involved in one of the standards contact the person on the list above or contact Douglas Holmes on firstname.lastname@example.org
